CORTES DE PALLÁS
The town of Cortes de Pallás is the most isolated of the settlements in the Valle de Ayora district, and it is perhaps precisely because of this and its many resources that Cortes de Pallás is such an attractive place with interesting architecture and a cultural heritage that includes the ruins of four fortifications, among other things. It is famed for the clean, crystal-clear waters of the navigable River Júcar, which flows through the town, and it is also blessed by the presence of various picturesque hamlets on its outskirts, each of which oozes charm and offers great food and drink.
