VALLADA
Vallada is particularly popular with walkers and climbers, with its beautiful mountains and countryside paths, numerous caves and sink holes. Well-known is the underground river "Tunnel dels Sumidors which runs through the Peno Mountain. The water is salty and said to have healing properties. Go to the top of the mountain and you will come across Eagles rock and a Muslim castle. At the foot of the mountain is a salt water swimming pool and barbecue area.
In the town, visit the Parish Church of S. Apostle Bartholomew and the archaeological museum.
