PORTAL DE VALLDIGNA (VALLDIGNA GATEWAY)

Built into one of the ancient Muslim walls, the gateway used to be an entrance to the medieval city in an area where the noble families had established themselves. It was opened in 1400 and consists of an arch of Muslim inspiration. The owner of the adjoining houses bought the top part in 1678 and enlarged his house over the arch. The combination of arch and house was restored in 1965.
