Information: Caribbean flamingo chick as it takes its first wobbly steps in the nest to try out its long legs. The fla-mingos are at the Bronx Zoo in New York, Unted States.

The Caribbean fla-mingo is found in South America and the Caribbean with a small population in the Galapagos. It inhabits tropical and warm temperate sites; found near shallow salt or soda lagoons and lakes The Caribbean flamingo is by far the brightest and one of the largest of all the flamingos. They are highly social birds and they live in colonies that can contain thousands of individuals.
