Researchers from the African Wildlife Conservation Fund have helped increase the wild dog population in the Save (pronounced sarve) Valley conservation area in the Southeast of Zimbabwe. The conservancy covers a million acres and was originally a cattle ranching area. The wild dogs moved in from the Gonarezhou Game Reserve. In this video Dr. Rosemary Groom and Jess Watermeyer and their team of trackers are in the field following up and monitoring the wild dogs.
