A party of journalists that were staying at the Norman Carr Safaris Chinzombo Camp in Zambia. Including Jesse Nash, Long Island University Art Professor Dan Christoffel, Naturalist Steve Baker, and Australian TV personality Nina Karnikowski were on a game drive and witnessed a one-year-old Elephant that strayed from its mother in the Luangwa Park attacked by a pride of 14 lions. Fortunately, the elephant took to the river and managed to escape and rejoin the herd. Lions are aware of the dangers of crocodiles and I think the attack was lessened with the thought of crocodiles.
