Dean is well known for his close relationship with the lion pride at his South Africa sanctuary, Hakunami Paka Oasis, where the lions live in a wild area, as naturally as possible. He emphasizes that the lions are not tamed and that his interactions carry inherent risks.

It is truly amazing to see Deans interacting with the lions and his understanding of their actions and behaviour.
