Video showing a behind the scenes visit in to the daily lives of orphaned baby orangutans at the world's largest orangutan rescue and care centre in Borneo. At the end of the day enjoy watching the cute youngsters have a snack and get ready for bed. The baby orangutans have round the clock carers so they receive the care that they would have had from their own mothers.

The Nyaru Menteng Orangutan Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre - Animal Video, is run by the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Facilities include a veterinary clinic, quarantine facilities, an infant nursery and large socialisation areas.

The Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) is endemic to the island of Borneo, where it generally inhabits swampy and hilly tropical rainforests. It belongs to the only genus of great apes native to Asia and is the largest of the three Pongo species.
