Enjoy watching this Sumatran Orangutan at Chester Zoo, preparing to put her young one down to rest for the evening. The mother, called Emma, makes a nest for her daughter Hilda to sleep but Hilda has a different idea....like most kids!

Chester Zoo is home to both Bornean and Sumatran orangutans. It is the only zoo in the UK to care for both species and the zoo is involved in international breeding programs to help conserve this critically endangered species.

Orangutans are great apes native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia. They are now found only in parts of Borneo and Sumatra.
