Hungry Fox Steals Food from Griffon Vultures in Spain

A hungry fox meets two Griffon vultures at a wildlife pond in a wilderness area near Madrid in Spain. The Iberian Red Fox is determined to steal some food scraps from the vultures and after a bit of aggravation he finally succeeds and escapes without injury.

The Iberian red fox (Vulpes vulpes Silacea) is slightly smaller than its northern relatives. It stand around 25 to 45 cm at the shoulder, with a body length of 60 to 80cm and a Brush around 35cm. It is highly adaptable, making it able to live in a variety of habitats, including forests, agricultural areas, and mountains and has a strong population in central Spain.
