Griffon vultures feeding, drinking and bathing at a feeding station in Huesca in Aragon, Spain. Many of the vultures are immature and you will also see some Egyptian vultures and European storks.

Since 1980 the feeding station has been managed by the Friends of the Vulture Fund ( Fondo Amigos del Buitre (FAB) who have been feeding and surveying this population of birds for 40 ears.

Spain is home to about 90 percent of Europe’s population of Griffon vultures and in global terms Spain is home to around 75 percent of the world’s Griffons.
