The vulture feeding is part of a unique conservation initiative that supports these endangered scavengers. There are six species of vulture in Zimbabwe: White-backed Vulture, White-headed Vulture, Hooded Vulture, Lappet-faced Vulture, Cape Vulture, and Palm-nut Vulture. They are all considered to be vulnerable and threatened.
